How did you get into what you do right now? Please tell us more about your journey?
Trivia and quizzes have always been something I have been passionate about when I was growing up. Quizzes / Trivia, both playing and creating for other users, has always been a keen interest of mine. Thus, I found a way to entertain people and have it work out as a business model for me.
Who are your role models?
I have always looked up to Indra Nooyi and Sheryl Sandberg as strong women who have been successful in their fields.
What inspires you?
Converting my idea into a workable, saleable, and scalable business venture excites and inspires me the most. I have wanted to do this all my life.
Please tell us about your mobile application.
Winzy is a trivia-based gaming app platform to play and win products that are currently trending. Winzy has specially designed – Bid and Win, Quizzes that test your general knowledge and many other topics that users are interested in and can win while brushing up on their favorite topics
Which social media channels work best for promoting your work? What exactly do you do on the social media channel that makes it work for you?
Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube. We promote celebrity quizzes and all upcoming activities and featured players on our social media handles. This is really helpful as followers of those celebrities download, and they engage in our app activities.
What’s your greatest fear?
Not able to reach the app’s full potential and curb the churn rate to ensure that users are fully engaged in the app.
Looking back, what’s one thing you wish you understood better before you ever got started?
Just to get all strategies implemented before we hit the market. We lost a lot of time in the beta version of the app and testing on real-time users. We implement a more holistic social media strategy now, wish we had figured out better digital marketing agencies initially to expand our reach at the launch phase.
What are the strategies that helped you become successful in your journey?
The app content, our ads, and SEO strategy had put our app in #4 trending position on the Playstore within 3 days of launching itself. Getting the app experience and the value we give our customers caused our downloads to boost the maximum.
What keeps you going when things get tough?
Belief in myself and the potential of the business.
Any message for our readers.
Just remember that giving up is not an option, no matter how difficult things get just stick to it, and the best results are right around the corner.
How can people connect with you?
